After the Schrade company closed its doors in 2005, Taylor Cutlery, famous for its Smith & Wesson knives, acquired the brand name and began supplying a complete import line of the Schrade Knives. You'll be impressed with the fit, finish and value of the new Schrade product line. Taylor Brands offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty against any manufacturing defects on our products. This includes any problems a customer might experience such as loss of screws, breaking of clip or breaking of the blade. On any products manufactured using natural materials such as bone, stag, wood, buffalo horn, sheep horn, pearl etc... these are considered natural materials and they are subject to shrinking with time. This shrinking can cause cracks in the handles and as this is a natural process it is not covered by our warranty. In order to have the item repaired or replaced, it is required to send the product to 1043 Fordtown Road, Kingsport TN 37663 and include a check or money order for $6.95 for each item that is included (for return shipping and processing fee). Please remember to include a return address and phone number. If item has been discontinued and is no longer available, we will exchange for an item of similar value of our discretion. Please allow 2-3 weeks for repair and return. It is important to note that some items can only be replaced, therefore, if your item has sentimental value please consider this before mailing the item in. This guarantee is voided (as determined by SOG) by misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, or alterations of the product and does not cover any normal wear that might occur. All guarantee claims should be sent directly to SOG Specialty Knives, Inc. U.S. claims should be prepaid insured. International claims should write or call for information. All Fusion by SOG products are guaranteed against defects in workmanship and materials for one year from date of purchase. This guarantee is voided (as determined by SOG) by misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, or alterations of the product and does not cover any normal wear and tear that may occur. All guarantee claims should be directed to the factory. U.S. claims should be sent prepaid and insured. For international claims, call or write SOG's Warranty Department for information. A Buck Knife is built to last. But if for some reason, your Buck is defective due to materials or workmanship, you can return it to us for repair. No matter where you bought it. We will repair your knife, including parts, labor and or replacement with a new knife at our discretion. Keep in mind, repair is not always possible or practical. We will replace your knife with the same or one that is comparable if your knife is no longer available. Please note if your knife has sentimental value when you send the knife to us. REGISTER YOUR KNIFEREPAIRS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTYIf your knife needs to be repaired, but doesn't fall under warranty, please send it to us. Don't try to repair it yourself. Buck Knives RETURNSWe want you to be happy with your Buck Knife. But if for any reason you are not satisfied, send your Buck back to us. Please include the original receipt if you still have it and a short description of your reason for returning the knife. We will refund your payment within one week of receiving your shipment. BK Inc. Welcome to the Boker USA Warranty/Sharpening Info Page. On this page, we will provide answers to your questions regarding the Boker warranty, repairs, and sharpening of Boker ceramic knives. Our warranty has been in effect for over 135 years. Any Boker product that is defective in material or workmanship will be repaired or replaced by us at no charge to the customer. Our warranty reads: "Every Boker product is guaranteed to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product to the original owner. If this item should fail under normal use, we will repair it or replace it at no charge with an item of equal or better value." To help you better understand whether your product is covered under warranty, the following items are normally not covered under warranty, although exceptions do exist:
If you would like to send your Boker knife in for repair work or examination to see if it is covered under warranty, it must be accompanied by your phone number, shipping address (no P.O. boxes, please), e-mail address (if applicable) and $5.00 to cover return shipping and handling (in the form of either a check, money order or Visa or Mastercard number). If we do not have a method of contacting you, we will not be able to proceed with any repair or warranty work. If you do not include shipping charges it will cause significant delays in returning your knife to you. If your repair is covered under our warranty, we will return the $5.00 payment along with your knife. BOKER CERAMIC KNIVES Please exercise caution when using ceramic bladed knives. Due to their extreme hardness, which is why they do not need to be sharpened as often as a steel blade, they are brittle. Therefore, blade breakage or chipping is not covered under warranty. We do provide a sharpening service, which can get out most small chips in the blade and restore the original edge. If you need to have your knife sharpened, please refer to the information below. Ross Cutlery The charge for this service is $19.95 plus $10.00 for each additional knife in the same package. This service will take approximately 4 weeks. Payment to Ross Cutlery must be in the form of a check or money order made out to Ross Cutlery. Please include a note with your name, address (no PO Boxes please) and phone number.
